From my perspective, I think you've provided a level of quality in the companions that stands out among what I see other people have at my Mother’s assisted living facility — and from what I know of health care providers in general from my studies since the 1980s and observation.

Companion Program and Family Support Services

From the moment of first contact, the Care for You (CfY) support team goes into action:

  • Intake – when you call us we’ll conduct a phone interview to gain a preliminary understanding of your needs and unique circumstances. Prior to concluding the call, we’ll set up a time for a free, in-home assessment.
  • Assessment – we’ll come to your home for a physical assessment, determine the level of effort required, estimate costs for special projects and ascertain any special support needs.
  • Scheduling – we’ll review our employee database to match our companions’ skill sets with your needs. We then set up a personal introduction.
  • Service Delivery – Your companion will be introduced to you by a member of the Care for You management staff. Our CfY Quality Manager will make periodic inquiries by phone and in person to ensure that our services meet our quality standards.

The Care for You Companion Program is a one-on-one family support and eldercare service that starts with you - your facts and circumstances. Care for You will meet with you and make an initial assessment – or feel free to complete our online needs assessment. A single individual, trained and monitored by Care for You, will meet most of your needs. For some CompanionPlus services, we work with one of our qualified professionals to ensure your needs are met.

Per your request, your Care for You Companion will call you every day to:

  • Ensure your health and well being.
  • Review and confirm prior commitments.
  • Handle any immediate needs that arise.

Care for You was created as a comprehensive family and eldercare support program to address the changing needs of the aging population. We help seniors in the 'Extended Family Spirit'.

Care for You is the one family support and eldercare service you can turn to for all of your non-medical needs, and we're usually less expensive than piecemeal services.
